Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi led leaders and members of the BNP into the party’s central office on Thursday morning, breaking the lock on the door for the first time since October 29. It had been closed for 2.5 months. They walked into the office at 10:30 AM.
Rizvi said after coming into the office, “After two and a half months, we broke the lock and got into our office. On October 28, the day of our grand rally, our program was met with a brutal rampage. Then the police locked our office. They did not allow anyone to enter for so long. Now we entered the office.” The office was locked since BNP’s big rally on October 28. It was under the supervision of law enforcement agencies for the purpose of investigation.
BNP will hold a press conference at their central office at 3 PM.
