Tourists who will be visiting Cox’s Bazar can now have open-top bus rides as the district administration has introduced 2 tourist buses, set to travel the 80km Marine Drive within the tourist zone. PM Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to inaugurate these buses on Saturday.
The unveiling of these tourist buses is targeted at increasing Cox’s Bazar’s attractiveness among visitors. The buses, adorned with BRTC and tourist bus stickers of Cox’s Bazar’s destinations, were displayed Saturday morning near the district administration’s information centre. The buses will accommodate 55 passengers each, will be operated by the district administration of Cox’s Bazar. The route covers Labani, Sugandha, and Kalatali points on Cox’s Bazar beach to Rejukhal Bridge, continuing to Patuartek on Marine Drive. Stops along the way will let tourists explore various destinations.
