PM Hasina congratulated by India, China, Russia and 4 other states for election win

PM Sheikh Hasina was greeted at Ganabhaban by ambassadors from India, China, and Russia, as well as officials from Bhutan, the Philippines, Singapore, and Sri Lanka. They were all happy for her that the Awami League won the 12th national elections. The officials said they were committed to working with Bangladesh in the future and reassured their support for the growth of the country.

PM Hasina thanked them for their well wishes and asked them to work with her to help Bangladesh grow and improve. During the meeting, Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma sent greetings and congrats from the Indian government and Prime Minister Modi. He said that he hoped the new term of Prime Minister Hasina’s government would bring more vigour to the two countries’ relationship.

Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen praised Prime Minister Hasina on the results of the elections and reaffirmed that Chinese leaders are committed to building trust and working together more closely in real life. Ambassador Yao said that China would always back Bangladesh’s national sovereignty and development goals. He also promised to improve cooperation in all areas and help make “Vision 2041” and “Sonar Bangla” come true.
