PM Sheikh Hasina expressed her hope that China would play a more crucial role during the term of her new government to help execute its development programs.
“China is one of the most significant development and strategic partners of Bangladesh. We hope that during this government’s term, China will help us more than ever before to help advance the development journey of Bangladesh,” she said when the Chinese vice minister of the International Department of the CCP, Sun Haiyan, called on her at her official residence, Ganabhaban.
PM’s speech writer M Nazrul Islam had briefed reporters after the meeting.
