The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a weather forecast for the coming 72 hours, affecting various regions including Dhaka. The BMD bulletin predicts scattered rain or thundershowers in Khulna and Barisal divisions, while isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Chittagong divisions. Other regions are expected to experience dry conditions with partly cloudy skies. Moderate to thick fog is also expected from midnight to morning.
The Rangpur division, Kishoreganj, Noagaon, and Dinajpur are experiencing a mild cold wave, with potential disruptions in transport sectors. Dinajpur recorded the lowest temperature at 8°C. Temperatures are expected to fall slightly in the north-northeastern regions, while remaining relatively stable in other parts of Bangladesh.
