The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) says it will rain in many places, including Dhaka, during the current mild cold wave. Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram areas are likely to get rain over the next 24 hours, starting at 9 a.m. today. The weather office has said that it might rain in a few places in these areas. Meanwhile, BMD says that it will likely rain in one or two places tomorrow over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions.
With a temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius, Bandarban had the lowest temp today. While the country is going through this cold wave, other parts of Bangladesh should have mostly dry weather with partly cloudy skies for a while.
Changes in temperature are also expected. Across the country, the temperature at night is expected to rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius and the temperature during the day will rise by the same amount.
