As Valentine’s Day is coming up, an American zoo is offering people to get back at their exes in a unique way. In one of its long-standing traditions, the Bronx Zoo is giving people the chance to name a cockroach after their ex for $15. The package includes a colorful certificate emailed to your ex that a Madagascar hissing cockroach has been named in their honour.
CBS News reported that the Bronx Zoo launched the Name-a-Roach program in 2011, featuring Madagascar hissing cockroaches as the world’s largest species of cockroaches. The program, launched in 2011, saw 3,246 people name roaches as part of Valentine’s Day, highlighting the importance of cockroach conservation.
