Apple’s Vision Pro headset will not have a dedicated Netflix app at launch. Although dedicated apps for Disney Plus, Max, Amazon Prime Video, and Paramount Plus are there, Netflix will not launch an app specifically for Apple’s headset or make its iPad app compatible with the platform. Instead, users will watch content from Netflix in a web browser, making the movies or TV shows wearers are watching less immersive.
Netflix was not mentioned in Apple’s announcement where they announced that the Vision Pro will launch with 3D movies and experiences from Disney Plus and Apple TV. Netflix’s absence from the $3,499 headset will probably make the device less enticing for those who want to use it for streaming their favorite shows and movies.
