The current Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2023 put Brac University in fifth place in the world. This is a big deal.

Brac is the best university in Bangladesh and ranks between 301 and 400 in the world in terms of its overall effect.

There are 1,591 universities from 112 countries or regions in the 2023 Impact Rankings. On Thursday, THE University Impact Ranking for 2023 came out.

Universities from all over the world are judged by how well they meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.

Brac University did very well in the “SDG-1: No Poverty” area. With a very high score of 86.5, they came in fifth place worldwide. This shows that the university is committed to reducing poverty through its new ways of teaching, doing study, and working with the community.

Brac University also did well in other SDGs, like SDG-4, which is about quality education, SDG-8, which is about decent work and economic growth, and SDG-16, which is about peace, justice, and strong institutions.

In each of these areas, the university was ranked between 200 and 300 worldwide, which shows how much it cares about giving good education, helping the economy grow, and promoting peace and justice.
