The Election Commission issued an announcement today declaring the date for the 12th national election. It will be held on January 7, 2024.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal called on all political parties to participate in the election. As seen in TVs around Bangladesh, he also said in his speech that all political parties can be assured about necessary measures being taken to ensure a free and fair election.
