Virat Kohli equals Tendulkar’s record of most centuries in ODI cricket

In Kolkata, during the CWC 2023 match against South Africa, Virat Kohli scored his 49th one-day international century, tying the mark held by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar of India. Kohli, who is 35 years old, amassed 100 runs off 119 balls, inciting a frenzy among the crowded audience at Eden Gardens.

Tendulkar scored 49 centuries in 451 innings and 462 matches, while it has taken Kohli 277 innings and 289 ODIs. Kohli now has the second-highest runs at the World Cup with 542.
